HMB has taken a proactive approach towards vessel management. This has given us the opportunity to develop a core professional ship management team which has the necessary expertise and skills to engage in the management of third party vessels.

Our subsidiary company, Prima Shipmanagement Sdn. Bhd provides shipmanagement services, namely crewing, shipboard maintenance, docking, bunkering services, etc. We provide specialised services to vessels owned by HMB as well as to other vessel owners
and operators. We are looking for opportunities with other foreign and local owners to manage their ships using Malaysian crew.

With the proven expertise in this area, we act for cargo owners as well as ship owners for the carriage of -cargo and in the sale and purchase of ships. HMB also operates a wholly owned shipbroking company which charters in vessels to service steel products, cement, timber products, scrap, fertilisers and other bulk products. Our services include discharging freighting contracts and undertaking project cargo services.
