BACKGROUND
In 1980, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Halim Mohammad started OHM MARITIME SDN BHD
(OHM MARITIME) to
provide ship agency services to the newly opened oil fields of
Petronas in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
With this pioneering spirit, OHM MARITIME grew in tandem with the
rapid growth in the oil industry in Malaysia. Now, 22 years later, OHM
MARITIME has emerged as one of the largest shipping agency in
Malaysia, in particular the tanker, bulk and LPG vessels sector.
OHM MARITIME, with its own extensive network of offices in all the
major ports of Malaysia, Singapore and sub-agency network in East
Malaysia and Brunei provides a coverage of a total of over 20 major
and minor ports for its Clients. All these branch offices are
well-equipped and managed modern offices with on-line communication
links to the Head Office in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
Not limited to the handling of tanker vessels, OHM MARITIME is equally
experience in the handling of container vessels, bulk carriers,
general cargo vessels and had acted as agents for capesize bulk
carriers of 150,000 DWT in Kemaman.
